Electrical Engineer is needed in Atlanta, GA.
• Perform engineering design evaluations and works to complete constructional projects within budget and scheduling restraints, including power distribution, lighting and lighting controls systems, and various low voltage systems.
• Review reports of production, malfunction and maintenance.
• Provide technical electrical design and troubleshooting support for constructional projects.
• Use computer assisted design/drafting software to develop electrical designs.
• Prepare preliminary design proposal(s), engineering design, and supporting documentation.
• Participate in engineering and electrical design reviews as required.
• Refine and complete electrical designs after design review meetings.
• Interact and coordinate with drafters to develop and complete electrical designs.
• Interact with clients and vendors.
• Take initiative to identify and correct potential electrical design flaws and identify potential risks or engineering design impacts for the project.
• Participate and lead bid walk-down meetings.
• Provide on-site construction and commissioning support.
• Interact with vendors to specify and/or troubleshoot equipment.
Req. Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or foreign equivalency with 6 months of progressive experience as an Electrical Engineer. Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit. 9-5, 40 hr/wk. Mail resume to PowerBuild Construction LLC at 1 Ravinia Drive, Suite 1200, Atlanta, GA 30346.
